Kufre was our 2023-2024 New Mexico fellow, and in August of 2024 he joined NM Voices for Children as a policy fellow. Growing up in Albuquerque, Kufre developed an interest in understanding and addressing the root causes of poverty and inequality. He studied economics at UNM and has previously worked in housing support in Albuquerque. Kufre's scholarship includes work on inequality policy, doing data analysis for the Executive Excess Report, as well as budget and military spending policy research with the National Priorities Project.
