Alliyah Lusuegro is the Outreach Coordinator for the National Priorities Project (NPP) at the Institute for Policy Studies. She manages collaborations with immigrant rights organizations and climate justice movements, helping make issues of militarism and military spending accessible and compelling to diverse audiences. A first-generation immigrant with roots in the Philippines, Alliyah grew up in Chicago and now calls Washington, DC home.
She brings years of experience organizing for justice and healing within historically disenfranchised communities. Before joining NPP, she served as a RAY Fellow and Climate-Ready Fisheries Specialist at Ocean Conservancy, where she advanced policy, advocacy, and storytelling initiatives. Alliyah graduated from Swarthmore College with a BA in Environmental Studies and double minor in Biology and Gender and Sexuality Studies.
