Antonia Juhasz

Antonia Juhasz is Director of the newly established Chevron Program at Global Exchange, a San Francisco-based human rights non-profit organization. She is a policy-analyst, author and activist.

Juhasz is the lead author and editor of The True Cost of Chevron: An Alternative Annual Report. Juhasz is an associate fellow with the Institute for Policy Studies and a senior analyst for Foreign Policy In Focus. She is on the National Advisory Committee of Iraq Veterans Against the War and on the Board of Directors of Coffee Strong. She has taught at the New College of California in the Activism and Social Change Masters Program and as a guest lecturer on U.S. Foreign Policy at the McMaster University Labour Studies Program in a unique educational program with the Canadian Automobile Workers Union.

Juhasz is the author of The Tyranny of Oil: the World’s Most Powerful Industry, and What We Must Do To Stop It (HarperCollins 2008), described as "A worthy successor to 'The Prize'... A riveting read with a bold blueprint for ending the madness,” by former California EPA Secretary, Terry Tamminen.
