IPS’s Climate Policy Program director Janet Redman will join 99 other women leaders gathering together from the Global South and North including grassroots activists, economists, scientists, businesswomen, indigenous leaders, policy-makers, faith leaders, and culture-shapers for three and a half days to further a Women’s Climate Action Agenda designed to benefit all people. Delegates include Dr. Jane Goodall, Dr. Vandana Shiva, Hon. Mary Robinson, Hon. Christiana Figueres, author Naomi Klein, Hon. Marina Silva, Dr. Sylvia Earle, leaders from Tanzania, First Nations Canada and the Amazon rainforest.

Janet will be speaking on a plenary on Sunday from 10:45 to 11:45am on the Power of the Purse: Economics/ Climate Finance.
