10th Annual I'll Be There Awards
Netfa Freeman, our events coordinator and local activist, will emcee DC Jobs with Justice's 2012 Awards.
DC Jobs with Justice is proud to announce their 10th Annual "I’ll Be There" Awards. This year the following award recipients will be honored for their outstanding dedication of supporting workers’ rights and justice:
- Carrie Biggs-Adams, CWA-NABET
- Pastor and Founder Raymond C. Bell, Spirit of Love and Deliverance Baptist Church
- The Kalmanovitz Initiative for Labor and the Working Poor, Georgetown University
- The United Group of Occupy DC
We hope you’ll be a part of the celebration as we honor these labor and community leaders for exceptional solidarity.
Emcee: Netfa Freeman, Institute for Policy Studies.
This is a fundraiser for DC Jobs with Justice. Donations will be accepted in advance or at the door (suggested donation $50 - no one turned away). Sponsorship and ads in the program book are available. Please contact Nikki at Nikki@dcjwj.org for more information.
