Salon: Arts and Activism with John Feffer
Join IPS Board Chair, Ethelbert Miller and playwright and political analyst, John Feffer for a dynamic discussion on the intersections of arts and activism.
Throughout every stage of the struggle for social justice, art has fueled and united people. Art has helped galvanize movements. In many instances, it has been a communal act of expression that has helped to shed light on injustices from slavery and labor exploitation, and from environmental destruction to immoral foreign policies. Art has also served as a creative release.
