Mortgage Meltdown: Why Our Community?

August 23, 2008 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Join Nandinee Kutty, PhD of the National Fair Housing Alliance and Dedrick Muhammad of the Institute of Policy Studies for a timely discussion on the racial implications of the current wave of foreclosures dominating the real estate market today.

Why are banks foreclosing in certain neighborhoods and not others? How has policy changed to both create, and respond, to this crisis in our communities?

Part of the the A.C.T.O.R. (A Continuing Talk on Race) monthly dialogue series that occurs on the fourth Saturday of every month.
