The Midterm Elections and What Will They Mean For The Progressive Movement
Attend a brown-bag lunch discussion with political analysts examining the national implications of the upcoming elections.
Will the Democrats lose the House? How many seats might they lose and why? Has Obama lost the trust of the progressives? Has the tea party taken over the populist movement in this country? Can the Dems and Obama fix the economy? What do you think? Come for projections, analysis and a lively discussion!
Please join IPS associates Steve Cobble and Bill Fletcher Jr., as well as IPS fellow Karen Dolan, for an informative discussion about what the midterm elections might mean for progressives and our various issues.
- Steve Cobble is an associate fellow at the Institute for Policy Studies, a cofounder of AfterDowningStreet.org, and a cofounder of the Progressive Democrats of America (PDA). He also worked on both the Kucinich '04 and '08 campaigns.
