IPS and the Letelier-Moffitt Assassinations

A talk with Saul Landau about the first foreign orchestrated terrorists attack on U.S. soil in modern history.

book coverIPS Fellow Saul Landau will discuss the history and lessons from the 1976 assassinations of his IPS colleagues, Orlando Letelier and Ronni Karpen Moffitt, by agents of the Chilean dictator, Augusto Pinochet. Landau led an investigation into the murders and co-authored the book Assassination on Embassy Row with John Dinges. The investigation led to the killers, and brought a measure of justice in this case. IPS Fellow Sarah Anderson will moderate the event.
