IPS’ Emira Woods will be a featured panelist for the Diasporan African Women’s Network’s (DAWN) Career Panel. The event is meant to develop and support talented women and girls of the African diaspora focused on African affairs.
DAWN is a network of young African professional women, with an important aspect of thier mission being to connect different professionals together and speaking about careers and experiences working on Africa. Other panelists will be Ndimyake Mwakalyelye, Reporter for Voice of America (VOA) and Nicole Lee, Executive Director of TransAfrica Forum.
