Brown Bag: Kenya Post-Election
Presentation by Irũngũ Houghton on prospects for addressing inequality and participation under a Jubilee Government.
Irũngũ Houghton is a founder of ActionAid USA, and a current member of the Board of Directors. He has extensive work experience in Africa, North America and other countries worldwide. As Oxfam Pan Africa Director, he was instrumental in dramatically expanding the Pan Africa program and establishing offices in Addis, Dakar and Nairobi, as well as managing multi-country programs.
Irũngũ has worked closely with several multi-agency coalitions to provide advice to Governments and multi-lateral agencies. He has also worked separately with a variety of organizations to clarify their strategic vision, capabilities and mandate, strengthen evaluation systems, develop partnerships, expand fundraising prospects as well as facilitate key conversations in legal and open governance reform.
