Join water warrior Maude Barlow for a discussion of her bold new book: Blue Future; Protecting Water and People and the Planet Forever (New Press, 2014). Maude is the author of 17 books, the national chairperson of the Council of Canadians, the board chair of Food and Water Watch, a senior scholar at IPS, and a leader of a dynamic global movement to address the global water crisis.

This book, the final installment of Maude’s “Blue” trilogy, includes inspiring stories of struggle and resistance from communities across the globe, as well as examples of government policies that work for people and the planet. A call to action to create a water-secure world, this is, in the end, a book of hope.
