Eric VanDreason is the Newman Fellow at the Institute for Policy Studies and manages the Institute’s digital content and social media. Prior to joining IPS, Eric was a Communications Fellow at Young Invincibles, where he specialized in creating digital content in addition to playing an organizing role in collecting stories from young people affected by issues relating to health care, higher education, and unemployment. Previously, Eric completed a service term as an AmeriCorps volunteer, facilitating a broad range of computer classes and job readiness workshops in classrooms and community institutions around DC. He graduated from Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts with a B.S. in Political Communication in 2011.
