Climate Justice Policy Factsheets

Climate justice policy factsheets directly from the UN climate negotiations in Cancun, Mexico
IPS joined with a number of policy groups in assembling a suite of factsheets on the most pressing issues within the global climate debate, reflecting the topics that climate negotiators inside the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change will have to grapple with over the next two weeks talks in Cancun, Mexico. These debates were also at the heart of the Cochabamba People's Conference on Climate Change and the Rights of Mother Earth.
To achieve climate justice, the demands in the Cochabamba People's Agreement must be included in a global deal that leads to deep emissions cuts at pollution sources - particularly in the global North, repayment of their climate debt, and the protection of the rights of all peoples and Mother Earth.
We hope you find these factsheets useful in your fight for climate justice!
